Medicare Enrollment and Fee-for-Service Data for Research

The Medicare enrollment and fee-for-service (FFS) data workshop is an introductory-level, didactic+interactive workshop, delivered virtually via Zoom, which will walk attendees through information on the Medicare program, creation of data files, and Medicare enrollment data and fee-for-service claims data from clinical visits, hospitalizations, and other care covered under the Medicare program. Its content consists of several segments, as well as some preparatory 'homework' video segments and materials for those needing more background. This is a good first workshop for someone learning about administrative data, Medicare data, study designs using secondary data, and others.

Presenters are expert CMS and Medicare data users and have taught similar workshops for several years; they will present materials in regular presentations, through activities, and help in question-and-answer sessions.
